Deputy Federal CIO Maria Roat Meets With GBEF Membership
Deputy Federal Chief Information Officer Maria Roat kicked off the GBEF 2021 events calendar by participating in a fireside chat with our membership. In her unassuming yet authoritative style, she covered a wide range of topics. She addressed how SBA’s migration to the Cloud along with their strong relationships with their business partners were two key elements enabling SBA successfully meet the challenges posed by COVID 19. Looking ahead, Ms. Roat talked about the value of quality data as a foundation of government implementing emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This was our first of eight EDGESeries2021 programs featuring a senior technology government executive. Our next EDGESeries2021 is February 25.
