Congressman Wittman is a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, on which he serves as Ranking Member on the Seapower and Projected Forces Subcommittee. He is a leading congressional advocate for a robust naval fleet land domestic shipbuilding industry. He has chaired the Board of Visitors for the US Naval Academy and co-chairs the congressional shipbuilding caucus. When it comes to Congress and US national security and defense, Congressman Wittman is a major player.
