The Government Business Executive Forum is excited to announce the kickoff of the GBEF annual agenda with the 1st Focus Forum on February 21, 2019 at The City Club in Washington DC.
Guest speaker, Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy Lance Leggitt, will speak on his key position as a top advisor to President Trump and a member of the President’s Domestic Policy Council.
With the recent release of the Executive Order on Artifical Intelligence, Leggitt will discuss what this means to industry as well as other Administration policies – current and planned – on health care, infrastructure, energy, and of course, law enforcement to include homeland security and border protection.
GBEF members will have the the opportunity to present one to two page proposals and/or issue papers that might be of interest the President’s Domestic Policy Agenda.
These informal discussions are among key member benefits. A reception will follow the meeting where Executive Committee Members have the opportunity to speak one on one with the speaker.

About Lance Leggitt
Lance Leggitt is Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Deputy Director of the President’s Domestic Policy Council (DPC). Mr. Leggitt is a Washington policy veteran who began his career as a senior policy advisor to former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore. He held senior positions in the George W. Bush Administration in both the Department of Health and Human Services and the White House.
Mr. Leggitt is one of President Trump’s top domestic policy advisors and has major responsibility in coordinating the President’s domestic agenda across Executive Branch departments and agencies.
About the Domestic Policy Council (DPC)
The DPC is the major organization within the Office of White House Policy and is responsible for coordination of the President’s domestic policy agenda, excluding economic policy which is the purview of the National Economic Council. The DPC also includes a number of subordinate White House functions as well.
