Jeffrey ‘Skunk’ Baxter

Jeffrey ‘Skunk’ Baxter currently is a consultant/contractor for a number of US Government agencies and advises top military, government and industry leaders on missile defense, terrorism and counter-terrorism, cyber warfare, intelligence, virtual reality, and importantly, on the policy frameworks that shape deployment of these systems.

Mr. Baxter is a Senior Fellow and member of the Board of Regents of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, a member of the Directors Strategic Red Team at MIT/Lincoln Laboratories and is a Specialist Reserve Officer with the Anti-Terrorism Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Mr. Baxter is recognized globally for his career as a musician. He is a founding member of the group Steely Dan, a Grammy winning guitarist with the Doobie Brothers and a successful record producer for artists to include Carl Wilson, Nazareth and The Stray Cats. Baxter has recorded with numerous recognized artists: Donna Summer, Dolly Parton, Ringo Starr, Carly Simon, Joni Mitchell, the Beach Boys, Julio Iglesias, Rod Stewart and others.

Mr. Baxter is an ex-officio member of the Government Business Executive Forum and serves on the board of CES Government.
