Vice President, Federal Capture
Cheryl Waldrup leads the capture organization within the Federal Civilian Division of General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Cheryl is a senior capture and business development executive with more than 20 years of experience in the information technology (IT) and federal government contracting arena. She has served at both privately-held and publicly-traded companies, as well as one of the largest ESOPs in the United States. Specializing in capture, brand management, partner marketing, strategic planning, business development and product launch, Cheryl’s experience spans diverse markets in both large scale and smaller, entrepreneurial environments.
An accomplished writer and speaker, Cheryl has published more than 100 articles in national and regional publications, including Software Strategies and Plant Site Locations magazines. She has worked in more than 20 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Cheryl is a graduate of the ACT-IAC Partners Program and was named 2018 Fellow of the Year by the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). She is also the recipient of the 2017 Business Leader Award, presented by Capella University and the Wall Street Journal.
